WeatherTech Auto Floor Mats Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a look at the front and rear WeatherTech floor liner mats on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. What WeatherTech mats are gonna do for you, it's gonna actually give you more coverage area than your OEM mat. Generally the space is gonna just cover the floor, whereas with the WeatherTech, it's gonna go all the way up the sides of the walls. What that means for you, it's gonna give you more surface area, protecting the carpet in those high traffic areas with people getting in and out of your truck. The measuring for the contours of the mat itself is a proprietary laser measuring system that allows for it to be a perfect fit to just slide right into place. As far as the channels, these are gonna allow for water or snow or ice that may come off of your boots to collect instead of soaking into the carpet. more

WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com taking a look at the WeatherTech all-weather front and rear floor mats on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. The all-weather floor mats are gonna fit pretty precisely to the inside of your floor board. They are measured using WeatherTech's proprietary laser measuring system, and that's gonna allow it to fit right into place. You may notice this additional material that's here that shows that it should be trimmed. Since it's just a demonstration, I didn't cut it off 'cause it's going back in the box, but when you receive yours, just a pair of scissors will cut right through that, and then it'll fit a little bit more snugly right here in this position. As you can see, you have the channels in the mat that go to the reservoir. more

Husky Liners X-act Contour Front Floor Liners Review - 2018 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

Today on our 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Liners X-act Contour Custom Auto Floor Liners.So here we have our factory floor mat in. As you can see it only offers minimal coverage. It doesn't come up here or around the contours of the floorboard. It's just not going to protect our floor the way we'd want it to.So I'll pop this one out, put the new one in and show you the difference. Before I put our new mat in, I'll clean up all the dirt that our original floor mat didn't catch.As you can see the new mat covers pretty much the whole floorboard. As you can see, it completely covers the carpet. It's going to be constructed of a rubberized thermal plastic material, so it's very durable and very pliable. It's going to have raised channels to help divert water away from the bottom of your shoes to help them dry a little bit quicker. It's also going to have nicely raised sidewalls to help keep all that dirt, debris, and water inside on the mat and off of your carpet.Another thing that's really nice about these liners is not only that it goes all the way up to the edge of your carpet behind the fuel pedal. Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 we'll be having a look at the Husky Liners Weather Beater custom auto floor liners for the front and rear in gray, part number HL98242. Also, available in black as part number HL98241 and available in tan as part number HL98243.Here's what our driver's side floor mat looks like installed. As you can see, we have complete coverage over our driver's side floor area with a raised edge that goes along our perimeter of the mat. We have a raised edge continuing along our transmission tunnel as well, and this will help contain any spills that may occur, protecting our carpet underneath.We have full coverage behind our peddles and up our firewall that way when we're resting our feet while we're driving we don't have to worry about getting our carpet dirty.We have these nice heels pads by our gas peddle and our break peddle, so when we're resting our feet, we have these thicker areas that help prevent our mat from getting worn through and the carpet underneath it as well.The one by our break peddle here even has a grip pattern on it to help provide us with extra traction so if our feet our wet we don't have to worry about them sliding off the break peddle.Behind our padded areas we have these channels right here, which will help divert any water away from our feet. That way our feet will be dry when we're operating our peddles and we won't have to worry about tracking this in and out of the vehicle, potentially causing us to slip getting in and out of the vehicle as well, too.Our mat extends up and over our threshold right here giving us expanded coverage so we don't have to worry about any water going underneath the mat and on to the carpet.Additionally, our mat does take advantage of the factory floor mat retention hooks here and here, giving us a nice sturdy clip in so we don't have to worry about the mat slipping around on us inside the vehicle. They follow all the factory contours of the vehicle nicely. Also, the soft construction of them will help absorb some road noise while we're traveling down the highway. Also, they give us a softer feel to our feet, so on extended road trips, we don't feel like we're standing or having our feet resting on a very hard plastic. A little bit more comfortable for us as we're driving.You'll notice, we have complete coverage over our entire driver's side floor area. Today on our 2013 GMC Sierra 3500 we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Liners Weather Beater Custom Auto Floor Liners for the front and rear in black, part number HL98231. They're also available in tan, using part number HL98233. Also in gray using part number HL98232. Now, the really nice thing about these mats as you can see is that they do extend far past the point where you're going to have your feet, so we know that all the moisture, dirt, and debris is going to stay on our mat and stay off of our carpet, and they're going to keep the interior of our truck clean, and be a nice upgrade from our factory mats. Now, our mats are custom molded to all the lines in our truck, and they're going to follow over each one of the cracks and crevices perfectly. Now, they are a semi-rigid mat, so they're going to hold their shape pretty well but also lay nicely against the floor. The raised edges on our mat are going to keep the moisture on the mat and away from our carpet and its specifically designed heel stops and pads are a nice addition so we can always make sure that our feet have a nice secure grip whenever we're working our pedals. Now, underneath our mat we're going to have several stay-put nibs all over the bottom, which is going to grab the carpet and keep it in place. more

Husky WeatherBeater 2nd Row Floor Liner Review - 2017 GMC Sierra 3500- Video

Today on our 2017 GMC Sierra 3500, we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Liners WeatherBeater custom auto floor liner for the second row in black, part number HL19231. Now, they're also available in gray using part number HL19232, and in tan using part number HL19233. Here's what our Husky Liners rear floor mats look like once they're fully installed, and they going to give us nice coverage and keep the interior clean, while also being a nice upgrade from our factory mats. Now our mats are molded perfectly to the vehicle, and they're made of semi-rigid construction, so they're going to keep their shape, but also be flexible enough to grab the floor of our truck. The channels in our floor liner are going to have the water and moisture and stay toward the center while the raised side walls are going to keep the water and dirt off of our carpet. These ribs right here are specifically designed to keep your feet off of the water and out of it, but still have nice traction and good grip so we can firmly get in and out of our truck. Now the material is a rubberized thermo-plastic, so it's going to hold up to extreme temperatures, and it won't crack under any kind of conditions. It's also going to be very resistant to most automotive chemicals, including oil, gasoline, and even road salt. One thing I really like about these liners is they extend beyond, underneath the seat, so even if we have a passenger in the back here, and they put their feet out, it still going to have nice coverage and keep our carpet nice and clean. The other nice factor is they don't stop right underneath the seat. more

This also comes in gray as part number HL98252, and black as part number HL98251. All right, the first step, we're going to go ahead and remove the factory floor mats on the driver's and passenger side. We'll go ahead and take our liners, slide them into place. I'd like to note here that while you're putting this in place you want to be careful of the stay put nibs at the bottom. While they do keep the actual mat in place and keep it from shifting around, it can hurt the fingers when you're trying to install this. more

They're going to connect to those factory mounting points, and make sure that our floor mat stays in place. A really great thing about these Aries StyleGuard floor mats is that it's a tri-layer set. The top layer is going to be thins thermoplastic. In the center, it's going to be weatherproof and waterproof. On the bottom, if we lift it up, you'll see our OmniGrip portion. more

WeatherTech Cargo Floor Liner Review - 2012 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain, we'll be looking at the WeatherTech Cargo Liners in Black, part number WT40442. They're also available in tan, part number WT41442, and finally in gray, part number WT42442. To begin our installation, we'll just have our rear hatch open here. Now, I want to point out this section here. This mat is designed to fit various applications for a few different vehicles. In our particular application, we can fold up here along this crease, or if you wanted to, you could trim this section off, so you'd have a perfect fit for your vehicle with the seats up. When you fold down the seats, when you decide to fold this up versus cut it off, it does give you a little bit more extra room for stuff you're laying across and it'll help contain spills that way too. For our time being, we'll just fold it up, raise it in position like so, and push it down in the corners like this and it's that easy to install. Now, these raised square ridges here have these grooves in between them, so if you we're to set something down there that's wet, it'll let the water drain down here. more

WeatherTech Rear Floor Liner Review - 2016 GMC Acadia- Video

Today in our 2016 GMC Acadia, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech 2nd Row Rear auto floor mats in black. Part number WT441112. These are also available in tan, part number WT45112 or in gray, part number WT46112. Now, we've gone and installed our 2nd row floor mat into Acadia, as you can see it's going to protect round in between out seats, still allowing our seats to move forward and backward in the tracks and going all the way to the sill. It's going to go up underneath our front seats, contouring around our console and the same on the driver side. It does have these little nubs here that are going over top of your factory twist ends for the carpeted floor mats. It's going to kind of help keep it centered in your vehicle and not let it slide around and you have these raised up channels. They're going to help keep the dirt and debris away from your shoes and clothing by having your feet sit across the top and all the dirt and debris fall to the bottom and it's going to help trap it in with this raised up lip. more

Husky X-act Contour 2nd Row Floor Liner Review - 2014 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 series we'll be doing a test for the Husky Liners Exact Contour Custom Auto Floor Liner for the second row, in black. Part number HL53211. To begin our test fit first thing we'll want to do is go ahead and remove our factory mats. We'll also want to vacuum out any dirty and debris that might be left underneath the mats. Then we can grab our new Husky Liner mat and we'll want to kind of angle it in head first, set it in position, we'll bring one side all the way up, kind of push it into place and then work our way towards the other side. We'll want to make sure and push it all the way up against certain areas of the floorboard where it's going to contour nicely. As you can see with our floor liner installed and when we put our seat down it's really going to kind of extend up underneath the seat where our feet are going to be. more

Husky Liners X-act Contour Front Floor Liners Review - 2014 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, we'll be doing a test for the Husky Liner's exact contour custom auto floor liners for the front, part number HL53111. To begin our test fit, we will first want to remove our old factory mats, we've got these factory secure points here, so we'll just want to kind of break them loose just like that, and then just pull the mat on out. We'll also want to vacuum any excess dirt and debris, or any large stuff. Then we can grab our new Husky Liner's mat, and I just want to point out real quick that our two holes here are going to line up with our factory secure points on our floorboard. We'll want to be sure and go in head-first, go underneath the gas pedal and the break pedal, and kind of work our way up into position, and then once we're over the top of those factory points, we can push down on here to secure it in place. Just like that. Then for the passenger seat, same thing here. We'll pull the mat out and then we'll bring our new Husky Liner mat in, we'll go in head-first, just as the same, we'll get into position, and then once we've got it where we want it, it also includes this piece of hardware that we can install under our nub here. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 we will be having a look at the Husky Liners WeatherBeater custom auto floor liner for the second row seating area, part number HL19232. This is for the gray color. Husky Liners WeatherBeater Front Floor Liners Review - 2014 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 we're going to review an install of the Husky Weatherbeater Custom Floor Liner to the front row, part number HL18232 grand color. This application is also available in tan, part number HL18233, or black part number HL18231. To begin our install we need to remove the old manufacturer's floor mat. As we can see they're doing a pretty good job of containing the dirt here on the floor mat, but we also have a lot that's coming off of the floor mat and getting drowned into our carpet. Let's go ahead and remove it and set it aside. Now as we install the new Husky Floor Liner it's pretty clear to see we've got a much bigger floor liner as we can reuse the manufacturer attachment points to secure the floor liner in place. Now on the bottom side of the floor liner are the special stay put nibs. These are used especially in applications where there's no manufacturer attachment points to really lock the floor liner into place so it doesn't shift and move around. more

Husky Front Floor Liners Review - 2008 GMC Sierra- Video

Today on our 2008 GMC Sierra, we're going to install and take a look at the Husky Liners Classic Custom Auto Floor Liners in black, part number HL31411. They're also available in gray, part number HL31412, and in tan part number HL31413. Here's what our Husky Floor Liner looks like and installed on the passenger side of our vehicle. As you can see it contours nicely with the factory floorboard and it reaches up underneath the dash further than say a stock floor mat would. It's going to fit the contour of the seat and again all the way over to the center here. Features a nice diamond plate pattern on it that's going to give you grip for your feet and it's going to keep your feet raised up off the bottom of the liner so if there's any moisture that comes your shoes, it's going to be in that grooves and your feet will be sitting on top of it on the diamond plate tread. One thing that really sets Husky Liner Floor Liners apart from other brands are the patent stay put nibs here on the bottom. more

These contour floor mat really does contour to your floorboard perfectly. Reaches up here underneath the dash a little bit so you don't have to worry about your feet going up there and getting it dirty.
